  4. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, pour the mixture of water and milk and mix together with your hands and set aside to rest
  5. Rub your palms with some flour,take certain amount of pastry set aside enough to cover an egg.take an egg place at the center of the pastry,try to cover up the egg with the pastry until is completely covered.
  6. Deep fry in moderately hot vegetable oil until golden brown.

I also experimented with freezing the egg rolls uncooked. After freezing I put them straight into a hot oven. Egg rolls are so called because the wrappers (or "skins") are made with egg; spring rolls wrappers are not.
