  1. Prepare 1/2 cup sugar
  2. Get 1/2 cup hot water
  3. Get 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. Prepare 1 tablespoon dark vinegar

Instructions to make Homemade soy sauce:
  1. In a medium flame, set in your pot / frying pan and pour the sugar.
  2. Allow the sugar to dissolve on its own till it's brown in color. Do not stir.
  3. After dissolving, add in hot water, salt and vinegar and stir. Allow it to boil/ cook for 10 minutes
  4. Off the flame after it's done and allow it to cool. Store in a container, it can be used within a week time (store for 7 days).
