Steps to make Meen's Fried Spaghetti:
- Keep all ingredients in close reach.
- Put a large frying pan or wok on heat source. Add oil and julienneded beef, few juliennes of onions, one seasoning cube and a quarter (1/4) of the combined quantity of spices you intend to use. Stir fry till done.
- Add in carrots, red bell pepper and scotch bonnet. Continue to stir fry.
- Add in onions and the rest of seasoning and spices. Stir. Turn off heat source.
- Boil water in a pot. Break spaghetti sticks into two and add in boiling water.
- Cook until 70% done. Note that spaghetti is cooked till al dente, that is, it should be a bit firm and chewy when you bite it. Therefore, it should be cooked to 70% of al dente texture.
- Quickly drain in colander.
- Turn on heat source and put the frying pan on it. Reduce heat to medium low.
- Transfer spaghetti to frying pan or wok and quickly stir. Continue stirring for a minute or two. Ensure that sauce is evenly distributed.
- Turn off heat source and serve.
