- Wash,peel and cut your carrots into cubes.
- Pour into a blender add water and blend
- Sieve out the juice and pour into a pot,add sugar and boil until sugar dissolves.Turn off heat
- Add a pint of orange colour to brighten your drink,allow to cool,pour into a jar and refrigerate
- Meanwhile divide your starch into two bowls,add little water and mix.Pour hot boiling water into one bowl and stir until thick.Pour the raw starch into the pap mixture and mix.Add enough water to thin out the drink.Cover and allow to ferment.
- After fermentation,chill in the fridge
- To serve pour a little carrot syrup in a glass and top with the millet drink.It will create a swirl of white and orange,or you can mix the millet drink and carrot syrup together to get an orange coloured drink just like the one in the jar.
